Living Planet Foundation USA hosted a reception at La Porte des Indes on the evening of November 25th. The reception was attended by 70 people including journalists, business leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, Councillers, scientists and religious leaders who had the opportunity to meet some of the world's best environmentalists and religious scholars. All guests enjoyed a beautiful evening with live Sitar followed by a sumptious vegetarian dinner.

Amongst the guests attending were H.E. Mr. Murari Raj Sharma, Ambassador of Nepal, Mr. C.B. Patel of Asian Voice, Mr. Walter Jayawardhana of Sri Lanka High Commission, Mr. Ravi Sharma of Sunrise Radio and leaders of various organizations.

The event also featured all the delegates to the Gulf of Mannar International Meeting that included Peter Bernard (UK), Dr. Ananatanand Rambachan (USA), Dr. Ranil Senanayake (Sri Lanka), Somduth Dolthuman (Mauritius), Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Arya Wedakarna, Prince of Dalem Benculuh Tegeh Kori (Bali), Shalina Bhaboeti (Netherlands), Ranjeev Gowri, (Netherlands/Suriname), Dr. Rajesh Parmar (UK), Ritwick Dutta (India) and Kusum Vyas (USA).
